Polar Peak is an oldschool style level in a cold thematic, remembering the classic Sonic ones with multiple ways. There’s some mechanism that makes the gameplay vary and the enemies aren’t too easy to beat.

The act 2 is similar to the first one. The Polar Bears are still there with some new enemies, mechanism and a boss in the end!

Aim for the bonus chute in the top-left to score really big and aim for the top of the leaderboard.

There are some pretty cool prizes on offer at the end of the level aswell.

I’ve already been tweaking and updating it in response to the helpful comments I’ve received over PSN and on the level and would really appreciate any more constructive feedback that anyone has.

For such a simple-looking level it’s taken a lot of time to get it to this stage. I’d estimate that with all the mini-computers and things figuring stuff out behind the scenes I’d estimate that the level has at least a few hundred pistons, keys and switches.

Higgs has reserved a pod for you, which you jump into and set off to Station B. Station A, (Sgt. Higgs) will be able to contact you throughout the journey.
