Jungle Drums is - like one could already guess by looking at the level name - a so-called survival challenge. Your goal is to survive as long as possible. If you die, the game is over and scores are set. The probably most special thing about this level is that it is built up randomly each time you play it. This means that you’ll basically get another challenge with each playthrough.
As soon as all players have moved on to the starting area, a countdown begins and the level starts. It’s a horizontal stage. large “blocks” containing certain jump’n'run-passages or little puzzles will move in from the left side and slowly move to the right side. The playing area is encased by toxic gas; move too far to either the right or left side of the screen and the game will be over. As already mentioned, the segments move from left to right. The movement speed increases every few seconds. The player has to overcome all obstacles as fast as possible, trying not to fall too far behind, which would result in getting killed by the toxic gas frame. At the moment, there are 28 different level segments included which will appear randomly. That means: every time you play the level, it will be a completely different challenge to you. 6 specifically designed point bubbles are placed in each segment, but the lion’s share of points can be collected at a special “points pool” where you will be spawned after dying. The longer you manage to survive, the more points you’ll get.
