The creator of Sackbook, Chris Warren, has updated his blog with word that his incredible social networking site that pulls data straight from the LBP servers, will be back this year (fingers crossed), and teases us with some new features he has been adding behind the scenes.
Sackbook opened its doors at the start of December last year, but was only open for a short time before Sony’s lawyers shut it down, to make sure nothing untoward was going on with the way it extracted data. There is no official word on the re-opening of Sackbook, but Chris seems fairly positive that 2009 will be his year.
For those waiting for an update on what’s happening with Sackbook; I’m afraid I can’t give any firm timescales as to when the site will be up and running - things move slowly at this time of year (everyone is too full of good nosh). However I have been using my time between scoffing turkey sandwiches and mince pies productively to get some funky new features on the site.
