Senior Community Development Manager, Sam_Protagonist, has today announced how you can help fix the saving problems in LittleBigPlanet.
Many players have recently had problems saving their progress in LittleBigPlanet. Media Molecule have been working on fixes for this issue for some time and are now providing a chance for players to help squash the bugs once and for all. By sending in game save data, players can help Media Molecule to thoroughly QA and test the latest fixes for the game.
If you have either of the following problems:
- Profile won't load and the game quits to XMB with no message. Other profiles load and the affected profile can be loaded as another player, just not the main player.
- You get a "Failed to load level" message on a level on your moon, even if you're offline.
...then jump on board the help boat and set sail for treasure in patch bay.

We'd like some more problem saved games to help us test our fixes, so if you have experienced these problems & you still have the save game please send your save data to (please do not use this address for anything other than sending saved games through). ow to get Save Data off your Playstation 3 and send it to us
- Connect a removable memory device into your PS3; such as a USB Memory stick, External Hard Drive, PSP, Flash Memory Card
- On the XMB go to the ‘Game’ menu and scroll to the ‘Save Data’ folder.
- Enter the ‘Save Data’ folder and scroll to your LittleBigPlanet save file.
- Press Triangle and select Copy.
- Select to Copy your data to the memory device connected to your Playstation 3.
- Once the copy has completed, back out to the top level of the XMB and remove the memory device connected to your Playstation 3.
- Connect the memory device to your computer.
- Compress (zip/rar) the PS3 folder that was created, and attach it to an email. OR Enter the folders \PS3\SAVEDATA\BCUS98148 and attach the 5 files in the last folder to an email.

How long does it take to get a reply?
can they fix my game save? the only issue is it tells me its not mine and i wont earn any trophies unless i back out and delete the save. but i already have ...platinum and i dont want to delete my save. i know its not a big deal, only a pop up.
I’m gonna try this but I might be back… I really hope this works because I made a level and then it ‘Failed to load level’ after like 10hours of work on it. Please work… Sam… I hope you make me happy.
i lost all my memory and had to get it all back again because of the save thing do u think ican stil send my profile in
by getting memory back i mean playing from the begining but my lvls i published R still there
I sent u a important message because this is life or boringness i play LBP all the time. When it gets to the pod it says all player profiles cannot be load or something like that when im even on my own.
