Patch 1.10 is now live, and weighs in at 22Mb. It went live early this morning (GMT time).
As far as we know, it’s a data patch (as opposed to an updates patch - a cheese). Data patches contain new costume data, allowing you to see those costumes when you’re playing online, for example.
We were expecting to see some new DLC costumes this week and a much anticipated Killzone 2 ‘pack-thing’. We’re not exactly sure as nothing specific was announced, but we know that there will definitely be two much anticipated Killzone costumes (Sev and Helghast).
Other DLC coming up includes Final Fantasy’s Sephiroth, Buzz, Patapon, Nariko and Kai from Heavenly Sword and the Bumblebee design-a-sackboy-competition-winner costume which appears to have gone AWOL.

After downloading the 1:10 patch I’ve noticed that if you select the DLC store from your menu and select the design- a- costume bubble, there are now 4 costumes in the bubble instead of 3.
It shows the tv costume, the plant one and the Kabuki suit but also a forth costume which looks like Tv’s Monkey character?
Does this mean that there is another design costume on the way as well as the bumblebee suit?

got my download at 2100hrs yesterday,est. I just wish it would fix my “corrupt data” error as well as the profile to full. I mean I can’t even send MM my trbl because when I try to transfer it to a flash drive it says it is corrupt..so sad..

When a new costume is released, the game needs to be updated so that it knows what they are. Otherwise, when playing online with other people, you wouldn’t be able to see the new costumes people are wearing.

Widescreen support, i have always wanted to play LBP in widescreen, but since the game DIDN’T include Widescreen support, i can only play on a 4:3 TV.

What are you on about? 16:9 is the only supported format, you have boarder in 4:3
It could just be me, but I also noticed the controls were a lot more respsonsive after this update. Im finding it a lot better to play now as a result.

Im a little puzzled by that comment to?
I play all my PS3 games on a 32inch Widescreen tv, including LBP and its in perfect aspect ratio to the entire screen. I dont understand what has given you the impression LBP doesnt support widescreen?
Theres even an icon on the back of the LBP box that clearly shows a widecscreen TV.
