Naughty Dog, creators of some of the PlayStation's most well loved games (Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted) have been checking out our Top 20 LittleBigPlanet Level Kit predictions for 2009.
We hope they were pleased to see their Jak & Daxter entry in at number 7 in the chart. But of course, like many entries in our top 20, it's a fairly unlikely one. The future of Jak & Daxter remains uncertain, what with Naughty Dog focusing attention on their new IP Uncharted. And later this year, Naughty Dog will be releasing the sequel to their hugely popular Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, with a change of scenery and T-Shirt, in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
In a comment on their Twitter feed, Naughty Dog mentioned our chart and hinted at the possibility of Uncharted DLC coming to LBP:

We've been tempted to return to our ever popular Top-20 for 'bonus rounds' for some time now, as there are simply so many ideas, and we saw the perfect opportunity to do so with this Tweet... (We're pretty sure you can expect more 'bonus rounds' to come along in the future).

It's time for Sackboys and Sackgirls to put on their adventuring gear and head into the jungle, with this Uncharted: Among Thieves level kit - released alongside the full game this autumn. Packed in to it is a classic Nathan Drake costume, and also a costume for side kick hardcore journalist, Elena Fisher.
Marvel at how the shirt remains half tucked in half not tucked in at all times... just like Tim Schafer says, half-tuck is the new mullet. Unlike certain other adventurer sequels, let's hope this one won't nuke the fridge.

See this would be great if they utilized that Blu-ray space. I always thought it would be great if they cross promoted their games by having extra level packs & costumes associated with the games on the games themselves. So for example when Twisted Metal for (PS3) came out they would have some fun Character Costume Packs on the disc (i.e. Sweet Tooth,Mr. Grimm,Warthog,Outlaw,Thumper,Specter etc etc etc…) & some level packs and do it for all of Sony’s stable of series they have. So let’s see what I could come up with

- Jak & Daxter
- God of War
- Socom
- Sly Cooper
- Syphon Filter
- Twisted Metal
- Heavenly Sword
- Lair
- Folklore
- Crash Bandicoot
- and many more
Then get 3rd parties involved to cross promote their games such as…
- Prince of Persia
- Resident Evil
- Silent Hill
- Ninja Gaiden
- Bioshock
- Assassin’s Creed
- Mirror’s Edge
- Grand Theft Auto
- Devil May Cry
- Kingdom Hearts
- Metal Gear Solid
- Final Fantasy
- Valkyrie Chronicles
and then you can even cross promote on Blu-ray Movies by putting costumes & Level packs on the Blu-ray Movie discs. I mean you could put a little trailer showing the costume packs and some gameplay for each movie and mention if you have a PS3 & LittleBigPlanet that the costumes & level packs are on the disc and are downloadable.

and of course try to always have a some level packs associated with the costume packs & maybe something like what you did with Metal Gear Solid (i.e. the Paintainator) that would make each pack a possible must for the consumer.
I mean I could go on forever. Their are so many IP’s that would meld so well with LittleBigPlanet and I think cross promotion will only help both parties mutually.Of course I know they won’t do this because they want to make some $$$ off the DLC costume packs & level packs but it would be so cool if they did use my idea & maybe they will if they read my comment. Just think about it people doesn’t that sound just Awesome!!!?
Uncharted was a great game. I would love to see a costume pack for it!
Yeah, I need this coustume right now! And another new levels would be fine.
it would be cool if they had kingdom hearts downloads dressing up as sora would be fun and some disney levels! =-) sonic the hedgehog would kinda cool would be nice to run really fast through levels or maybe have a chao garden! mario would be ok don’t think mario would be as cool.
