LittleBigPlanet in Covent Garden

Oct 21st 2008 - 1:09 PM

On Friday we took a trip to Covent Garden in London to visit the LittleBigPlanet space that's been set up there.

A short walk from the tube station and you're there, a shop space covered in Sackboys and bright colours. Inside the space you can play LBP, shove freebies into your pockets and take part in some of the create workshops whilst listening to a DJ play music from a nicely decorated booth. You need to book in-store to take part in the workshops, which range form screen printing to knitting, but if you drop in to book, or just want to take a look, you'll still be able to create your own Sackboy design using a printed template and the massive pile of pens, glue, stickers, felt, etc. All the visitor created Sackboys and Sackgirls are then pinned up on the wall, completing the Play, Create, Share circle.

Little Big Planet in Covent Garden:
When? 10th October - 15th November. 11:30 – 7pm Tuesday- Saturdays and 12pm-6pm Sundays
Workshops will be held Wednesday evenings, but please check in store to book.
