In some really quite excellent news that will make level builders everywhere rejoice in the streets, Alex Evans has confirmed that the ability to import images into LittleBigPlanet will be implemented by Christmas. Speaking at the GameCity festival in Nottingham last week, mister Evans told the press that the feature was apparently dropped for launch due to time constraints. This makes us very excited indeed, becuse as we all know, the PS3 eye camera image capture is really quite poor for making textures, so dust off your photoshop and roll on Christmas!
I am so waiting for this… But the question is: Can i upload PNG file formats?

Lies. All Lies… They’ve since “confirmed” that they’re not having an import tool.
It’s February and we still don’t have that tool…What happened?
