Rex Crowle, the Graphic Design guru behind much of LittleBigPlanet’s art style, has hailed TV artist Tony Hart, who sadly died last week .

Rex wrote a lovely piece about Tony Hart on the Media Molecule blog a few weeks back, but in a new interview with South London Today, Rex talks further about Tony, his influence on LittleBigPlanet and how moving it was to finally meet Tony Hart at the launch party for the game. Rex says:

Just to point out eMeUvePe but Tony Hart wasn’t a producer of LBP yet a presenter and artist on TV that was where a lot of inspiration for LBP was derived.
Ahem, I think the sound of something large flying over someones head could be heard.
txu for noticing but i know i just instead of doing details and writing novels i think producer serves as a way to describe tony, my opinion =] but nywayz yes i do know what im talking bout LBP trophys 100% buajaja
